I thought to use my phone’s flash instead and put it onto of the EX150 MKiii instead on the flat surface. this create a softer light on my face. Again I dimmed the lights down and was directed into the shots.
To get some of the camera angles that I wanted, I adjusted the tripod for certain shots. For colour change, I got some coloured sweet wrappers and taped it to my flash on my iPhone to get the full effect.
I also used cut out shapes for the background and instructed my helper to hold the patterns behind the camera so you’d see in shadow form.
I was really pleased by the end result as I had a variety of pictures to pick from.
